As promised, The Nerd Guide is going beyond Android and we will be covering more “nerdy” and INTERESTING stuff from time to time.
This week, on Gadget of the Week, we will be featuring… Hub+ for USB-C!
What is this gadget about?
As we all know by now, there is only one pathetic USB-C port in the new MacBooks. So how are you going to connect other devices, monitors etc etc… to your MacBook? On a mission to solve this problem,Nonda Inc spent nights and weekends pouring over designs and testing prototypes, and finally, arrived at the Hub+, the USB-C hub for the new MacBook!
What Hub+ have:
- 2 USB-C ports
- 1 SDXC card reader
- 1 mini DisplayPort (mDP 1.2 video output, 4k displays at 60Hz refresh rate)
- 3 USB-A 3.0 \ charging ports
- Built-in lithium ion battery to charge ANY phone (Up to 2.5 hours of talk time on iPhone 6)
Using the Hub+, you can connect a monitor, charge you MacBook via the USB-C port and charge a mobile device via one of the USB-A ports – all at the same time.
